Tim Baker, born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for fronting the indie rock band Hey Rosetta!. After studying creative writing at Concordia University, he returned to St. John's and began performing solo before forming Hey Rosetta! In 2016, Baker debuted his first solo song "Spirit" on CBC Radio. His debut solo album Forever Overhead was released in 2019 and longlisted for the 2019 Polaris Music Prize. At the Juno Awards of 2020, Tim Baker received a nomination for Songwriter of the Year. In 2022, he released his second solo album The Festival. The following year, Tim Baker released the EP Along the Mountain Road and performed a national tour. In November 2024, he released his third solo album, Full Rainbow of Light.
