Doris Norton is a pioneering electronic musician and DJ. She was notably the first musical endorser for Apple computers, with her album Under Ground (1980) featuring an Apple logo on the cover. In 1981, she released Parapsycho. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Norton released a series of influential albums including Raptus - Vol. 1 (1981), Nortoncomputerforpeace (1983), Personal Computer (1984), and Artificial Intelligence (1985). Norton also collaborated with IBM Computer Music, releasing albums such as Automatic Feeling (1986) and The Double Side of the Science (1990). Her work with the Italian progressive rock band Jacula further solidified her presence in the music industry.
