Haizea is a Basque psychedelic rock, proressive rock and folk-rock band from Spain. The group initially consisted of Xabier Lasa on guitar and vocals, C. Busto on drums, percussion, and xilophone, Xabier Iriondo on flute and guitar, Gabriel Berrena on contrabass and electric bass, and Amaia Zubiria on vocals. Haizea released their self-titled debut album Haizea in 1977, which featured tracks like "Brodatzen Ari Nintzen" and "Loa Loa." Their second album, Hontz Gaua, was released in 1979. This album showcased a more psychedelic folk sound with notable songs such as "Anderea" and a track of the same album title,"Hontz Gaua."
