Evil Superstars, a Belgian rock band, was formed in 1992 in Heusden-Zolder. The group consisted of Mauro Pawlowski on vocals and guitar, Bart Vandeput on drums, Marc Requilé on samples and keyboards, and Bart Vandebroeck on bass. In 1994, they won the Humo Rock Rally contest, marking their breakthrough. Their first EP, Hairfacts, was released that year. Tim Vanhamel joined the band as a guitarist, and in 1996, the band released their debut album, Love is Okay. The following year, Evil Superstars recorded their second album, Boogie-Children-R-Us. Despite positive reviews, sales were low. After A&M London dissolved in 1998, Mauro Pawlowski disbanded the group. Their final concert took place on September 15, 1998, at the Botanique in Brussels. The band reformed briefly for a concert in August 2015 at Pukkelpop.
