Born and raised in Oceanside, California, Chris's musical journey began in the early 2000s when he started self-releasing albums, showcasing his versatility and unwavering passion for music. His album, "Ascension," released in 2010, introduced his signature sound – a seamless fusion of soul, pop, reggae, hip-hop, and various other influences that defied traditional genre boundaries.
One of Chris's most notable achievements came in 2010 when his catchy single "Can I Have This Dance" was featured in a popular video game alongside major label artists, exposing his talent to a global audience. This recognition paved the way for his international touring, including a successful stint in Taiwan in 2013, where he performed his original music to thousands of fans each night.
In 2017, Chris released "Recollection," a compilation of singles that showcased his artistic evolution and solidified his reputation as a versatile and innovative musician. His 2013 album, "Changes" and the lo-fi inspired instrumental releases "Calibration" and "August" (2022), further highlighted his ability to seamlessly transition between genres and explore new sonic landscapes.

As a keyboardist, he has performed alongside a who's who of classic reggae icons, including Johnny Clarke, Sister Nancy, The Viceroys, Michael Prophet, Wayne Wade, Big Mountain, Edit Fitzroy, Johnny Osbourne, and many more, showcasing his mastery of the instrument and his deep appreciation for the roots of reggae music. He’s a core member of the all-star San Diego-based reggae band Roots Covenant and has been performing live with the renowned band Stranger since 2013. Additionally, he has played for R&B sensation Frankie J and the longtime lead vocalist of the legendary band Santana, Andy Vargas.
In addition to his musical pursuits, Chris has made strides in the production world, crafting music for commercials for major companies like Huawei and Coca-Cola, primarily targeting Asian markets. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found "Camatic Media," a production company with Adrian Cisneros in 2023, further expanding his creative reach.
