The German singer, songwriter and musician Chanin was born and grew up in Kaiserslautern. He made a name for himself with English-language pop with emotional depth. Chanin began his musical career as a teenager, writing his first songs at the age of 16 and performing in pubs, at weddings and on small stages before establishing himself as a professional artist. In the 2010s, he relocated to Berlin, where he formed his sound and performed live; his music is characterized by modern pop melodies, soulful elements and dense, personal lyricism. Chanin has performed as a support act for Mark Forster, Kelvin Jones and Samu Haber, among others, and will go on his own headline tour for the first time in 2025. Chanin's well-known releases include the singles "Soulmate", "More Than Life", "One And Only" and "Every Part of Me", which have achieved reach via social media and streaming. The single "Sometimes" (June 2025) is followed by further releases such as "Whisper" (September 2025) and "Miss Every Party" (November 2025).
