El Círculo, a Mexican pop rock band formed in 1999, originated from the members of Ragazzi. The original lineup included Miguel Islas, Jaime Flores, Marlon Gerson, and Patricio "Pato" Lomelín. After leaving Polygram Records due to creative differences, they signed with Sony Music and adopted the name El Círculo in 1998. Their debut album Murió el Silencio was released in 1999, featuring singles such as "Sube Que Baja" and "Vámonos". The band's second studio album, Sabroso, was released in 2001. El Círculo disbanded in 2003 due to the digital era's impact on record labels. The band reunited for a series of concerts in June 2011, marking their return to the stage after an eight-year hiatus. In 2017, they joined the 90's Pop Tour.
