Connie Han, born on February 4, 1996 in Los Angeles, California, is an American jazz pianist. She began playing piano at age five under her mother's tutelage and developed an interest in jazz during high school while studying with drummer Bill Wysaske. At 17, she became a professional musician with Wysaske as her trio's musical director. Han released her debut album The Richard Rodgers Songbook in 2015. She signed to Mack Avenue Records and released Crime Zone in 2018, which included seven of her original compositions and featured guest musicians Walter Smith III and Brian Swartz. The title track was inspired by films such as Blade Runner. In 2019, Han was named a Steinway Artist and was featured in JAZZIZ magazine's The Shape of Jazz to Come: Artists to Watch in 2019. Her subsequent albums include Iron Starlet (2020) and Secrets of Inanna (2022).
