CHRONES is a jazz-Grunge band born from the meeting of four musicians from the rising Parisian scene. Bottled to the rock bands of the 90s/2000s (Nirvana, Blonde Redhead, Sonic Youth, Deerhoof, Pantera...), the group combines these influences to a culture of jazz and improvisation. The sound created is massive, incisive, new and surprising.
Evolving in a rich and stimulating musical universe where the abolition of stylistic boundaries is a norm and creation a necessity, CHRONES draws with impunity in the abyss of jazz, the depth of traditions and the fulgurance of high-pressure grooves to try to deliver a beauty of its own, sometimes fusional and explosive, sometimes minimalist and delicate.
