Alejandro Astola, born on April 9, 1990 in Sevilla, Spain, is a singer. At age 12, he began learning to play guitar and started writing songs. He formed the group Fondo Flamenco with schoolmates Rafael Ruda and Antonio Manuel Ríos (Antónimo). In 2005, they released their first studio recording, "Ojalá", which gained significant online traction and led to an extensive tour across Andalucía. In 2007, Fondo Flamenco released their debut album Contracorriente, achieving millions of views on a video streaming platform for the video "Escúchame mujer". The band followed with Las cartas sobre la mesa in 2008 and Paren el mundo que me bajo in 2010. Astola's solo career began in 2015 with the double album Rockallano, funded through crowdfunding, which featured collaborations with artists like Juanito Makandé and Gualberto. In 2017, he partnered with Diego Pozo "El Ratón" to release the live album Gargantas callejeras y guitarras de cartón.
