Celine Solemsløkk Helgemo, known mononymously as Celine, was born on August 31, 1995, in Orkdal Municipality, near Trondheim, Norway. She is a singer and songwriter who began her musical journey at a young age. Her breakthrough moment came when she won the Norwegian song competition for kids MGPjr 2007 with "Bæstevænna" (translated as "best friends") at the age of 12. This victory led to her representing Norway in MGP Nordic 2007. Following her win, Celine released several albums including Jul på Røros (2012), Bæstevænna (2012), and Jentekveld (2012). Celine also collaborated with Malin Reitan on the album Julekonserten in 2010. Throughout her career, she has continued to compose and perform songs that resonate with audiences, showcasing her talent as both a singer and songwriter.
