Omar Pedrini is an Italian singer and guitarist born on 28 May 1967 in Brescia. He achieved professional recognition as the lead guitarist and vocalist for the rock band Timoria. He also established the record label Omar Gru to produce works for alternative rock groups. Pedrini launched his solo career with the studio recording Beatnik (1996) and participated in the Sanremo Festival in 2004 with the track “Lavoro inutile” (2004). He followed this with the studio albums Vidomàr (2004) and Pane, burro e medicine (2006). The latter featured the single “Shock” (2006), which reached number 36 on the Italian charts. His discography includes the studio recordings Che ci vado a fare a Londra? (2014) and Come se non ci fosse un domani (2017). The latter reached number 10 on the national albums chart. He followed these with the live recording Viaggio senza vento live (2020) and the studio album Sospeso (2023).
