"Toadstool Ngema" formally known as Nkululeko Ngema is a South African Music Producer/DJ. He was born and raised in a small town known as Zeerust and now Johannesburg - based. He is a 25 year old unsigned - new and by far the most critically acclaimed dance music producer.
Toadstool Ngema first got bitten by a dance music bug when he was young. He started collecting music in 2010 (no slow songs). They were all fast. He started as a producer under a New Jersey record label "Night Scope Deep Recordings". He was composing and compiling with the likes of Robert Martin, Carl Hanssen and many more.
In 2024, finally have had worked and built good relationships with Slope114 (San Fransisco), Darryl Jordan (US - Michigan), L Speaks (US - Illinois) and looking forward to working with many more interesting names.
He started DJ-ing at the ripe old age of 14 years and remixing since 2018. 2023 is a year he builds towards a discography on the biggest platforms right now and he hopes to be received by a bigger audience that will love and connect with his work.
His trademark sounds include blending raw Deep House elements with that United Kingdom House and bouncy swag. A touch of Hip Hop inspired bass vibes, with an inclusion of live classical and orchestral sounds to give it a unique edge.
