Angélique Nachon, born in Ajaccio, France, was a melodist and composer. She began her musical journey as a student of Jean-Claude Nachon, with whom she formed a prolific composing duo. Their collaboration started in 1980, marking the beginning of their extensive work in symphonic compositions for opera, ballets, theater, films, and variety music. Nachon's early works included contributions to notable films such as Robert et Robert (1978) and L'Immorale (1980). She also composed "Give Bach My Soul" for Japanese artist Megumi Satsu in 1985. Throughout her career, Nachon worked on numerous film scores, including Tango (1993), Dans un grand vent de fleurs (1996), and television series like Une famille formidable. Her compositions spanned various languages and genres, earning her multiple awards, such as the FIPA d'or for L'Affaire Salengro in 2009.
