Spillsbury were a German electropop and post-punk group from Hamburg formed in 2001 by vocalist Zoë Meißner and multi-instrumentalist Tobias Asche. They previously performed together in the punk band one:thirty. They released their debut eponymous extended play, Spillsbury (2002), and signed with the label L'Âge d'or. After the label became insolvent, they moved to Raboisen Records and issued the studio album Raus (2003). Their recording career includes the singles “Kurz vor vier / Jona” (2003), “Die Wahrheit” (2003), and “Was wir machen” (2004). They released their second studio recording, 2 (2005), and the single “Zwei von vielen / Nein” (2005). Their subsequent recordings include the digital single “Lass Mich” (2008) and their final studio album, Auf zum Atem (2008). The ensemble disbanded in 2009.
