Stefanie Joosten, born on August 5, 1988, in Roermond, Limburg, Netherlands, is a singer and former model. She studied Japanese language and culture at Leiden University and moved to Tokyo after completing her degree. Joosten's initial breakthrough came through modeling and acting roles, notably providing the motion capture, voice, and likeness for the character Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015). Her music career began with contributions to video game soundtracks, including "Quiet's Theme" from Metal Gear Solid V. In 2022, she released her debut album, Singing To The Sky, produced by Giorgio Moroder. The album featured collaborations with Matt Sorum and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Joosten also contributed to the soundtrack of Wanted: Dead (2021) and served as the lead cinematic director for the project. Her second album, Intermission, was announced in 2023, with the single "Tryouts for the Human Race" featuring Moroder.
