Maja Keuc

Maja Keuc, born on January 16, 1992, in Maribor, Slovenia, is a singer. Also known as Amaya, she began her musical journey by singing in the English Student Theatre and with the rock band Hrošči. She gained prominence in 2010 when she placed second in the talent show Slovenija ima talent. This led to her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection, where she won with "Vanilija". Representing Slovenia at Eurovision in 2011, Keuc finished in 13th place. Her debut album Indigo, released in 2011, contained both English and Slovenian lyrics. In 2014, she began using the stage name Amaya and sang her new single "Close to You" on the Eme show. Keuc has since collaborated on various projects, including writing songs for South Korean artists.
