Bosse‑de‑Nage, formed in San Francisco in 2006, is an American post‑black metal band comprising members Drew Bonel (bass), Harry Cantwell (drums), Bryan Manning (vocals), and Michael Smith‑Brenden (guitar). The group first gained attention with a series of 2006 demos that led to a signing with The Flenser, releasing the self‑titled debut Bosse‑de‑Nage in 2010. Subsequent albums followed chronologically: II (2011), III (2012), a split EP with Deafheaven, All Fours (2015), Further Still (2018), and Hidden Fires Burn Hottest released March 6, 2026. Their sound blends post‑rock, shoegaze, and screamo, and they have collaborated with notable labels such as Profound Lore, achieving recognition within the underground metal scene.
