Vishnu

Vishnu, a Norwegian rock group, was formed in Tromsø in August 2002 with vocalist Tor Thomassen, guitarist Tom Hansen, percussionist Eigil Moe Johansen, bassist Olav Solvang, and keyboardist Stian Grønbech. The band’s early breakthrough came in autumn 2004 when they won a national competition hosted by NRK, earning a spring 2005 tour across Norway. In 2006, they released the EP Lost Soul's Church on Feedback Underground. Their debut album Outskirts of Love followed in 2010 via Big Dipper Records, and their sophomore album Nightbeat Love was issued in 2012. Vishnu disbanded in 2013.
