Miko Marks, born in Flint, Michigan, is an American country music singer. She attended Grambling State University from 1990 to 1994, earning a degree in Political Science before moving to San Francisco. Her debut single "Freeway Bound" was released in 2005, followed by her self-titled album Freeway Bound on September 13 of the same year. Three further singles—"Kickin' Back", "Mama", and "Don't Come Cryin' to Me"—were released from this album in 2006. Her second studio album, It Feels Good, was produced by Ron Cornelius and released on August 21, 2007 under the Mirrome Records imprint. In 2021, Marks released her first new album in over a decade, Our Country. She performed for the first time on the Grand Ole Opry in October 2022, receiving two standing ovations.
