Kore. Ydro. was a Greek rock/pop group formed in Corfu during autumn 1993 by schoolmates Pantelis Dimitriadis, Giorgos Arvanitakis, and Spiros Katagis. The band's early output included "no-fi" home recordings and humorous short films. Their debut album If All Ever Ended Here was released in 2003 by Wipeout Records. In February 2006, Kore. Ydro. signed with Capitol/EMI and released Cheap Pop for the Elite, which included the hit single "Ochi Pia Erotes". The album received enthusiastic reviews and was named "the most important Greek album of the decade up to now" by SONIK magazine in November 2006. Kore. Ydro.'s third album, The Whole Truth about the Children of '78, was released in 2009. Their final album, Simple Exercises on Existentialism, came out in April 2013. The band disbanded in 2014.
