Jörg-Peter Siebert, known professionally as Büdi Siebert, was born on March 24, 1953, in Germany. He began his musical journey as a self-taught guitarist and later learned the flute and saxophone to join the group Puppenhaus. Siebert studied flute at the Stuttgart Music Academy and played with various ensembles, including Re and Herrgottsax. In the late 1970s, he collaborated on projects such as Brokdorfer Kantate with Thomas Rabenschlag and played flute and saxophone on Wolfgang Niedecken’s BAP rockt andere kölsche Leeder (1979) and Affjetaut (1980). Siebert released several albums, including HMM (1983), Bridges (1988), and Serenade (1991). He also composed music for over 100 films and TV shows.
