Miriam Aïda, born Miriam Sarghini Aïda Kronkvist on September 24, 1974, in Sweden, is a Swedish jazz singer. She began her career with her debut album in 2002, collaborating with her partner Fredrik Kronkvist and Jan Lundgren's trio. Her subsequent releases include Meu Brasil (2005), Introduction (2006), My Kind of World (2007), Come On Home (2008), Letras ao Brasil (2009), and Visans väsen (2011). Aïda has toured internationally, performing with notable artists such as Hermeto Pascoal, Badi Assad, and Marco Pereira. She also led the Jazzclub Monk in Malmö and hosted the radio program Miriams jazz on Sveriges Radio P2 in 2011. Her album Loving the Alien, released in 2018, is a tribute to David Bowie. Aïda has received several awards, including the Goldnadel from Jazz i Malmö in 2010 and Artist of the Year at the Swedish World Music Awards in 2012.
