Anders Parker, born circa 1970 in Upstate New York's Hudson Valley, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Growing up in a musical family, Parker began his career performing with various bands, including Varnaline and Space Needle. In the mid-1990s, he released his first EP, A Shot and a Beer, followed by the album Man of Sin in 1996. Parker's solo career took off with the release of "Tell It to the Dust" in 2004 on the Baryon label. He continued to release albums such as "The Wounded Astronaut" (EP, 2005), Anders Parker (2006), and Skyscraper Crow (double CD, 2009). Notable collaborations include Gob Iron with Jay Farrar in 2006. Throughout his career, Anders Parker has performed at various festivals including the NXNE Festival in Toronto in 1996.
