Ruan de Souza, 34 years old, Master in Music and Bachelor in Instrument (Guitar) from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA).
In 2009, he participated in the Encuentro de Guitarras Bolivia-Brasil, in Cochabamba. In the same year, he made the opening presentation at the Marco Pereira concert, at the XXI International Music Seminars at UFBA. In 2017, with his composition “Nibirú”, he received the award for best instrumental performer, together with Trio Nibirú, at the XV Festival de Música Educadora FM. In the same year he was a finalist for the 17th Nabor Pires Camargo / SP Award. In 2020, he received the award for best instrumental performer at the 18th Festival de Música Educadora FM. In 2021, he was selected at the 1st Festival Violão e Ponto / RS at the Open Stage. In 2021 he was a guest musician closing Mário Ulloa's concert at the Digital Festival Internacional de Violão-Conquista / BA. He acts as a composer, arranger, soloist, sideman musician and music producer.
