Graham Philip Brazier, born on May 6, 1952, in Auckland, New Zealand, was a musician and songwriter. He grew up above his mother's bookshop on Dominion Road, where he was exposed to notable writers like R.A.K. Mason and Rex Fairburn. Brazier began writing songs at the age of 19. He performed with the band Hello Sailor before forming the Legionnaires. Brazier's solo career featured albums such as Inside Out (1981), Brazier (1988), and East of Eden (2004). He suffered a heart attack in August 2015 and passed away on September 4, 2015. Posthumously, the album Left Turn at Midnite, completed by producer Alan Jansson, was released in May 2017.
