The name "DZgot" is inspired by the scientific word "dizygotic" making reference to non-identical or fraternal twins.
DZgot is a music producing/Dj duo composed by Cedric Roy and David Chatelain, inspired by (but not limited to) the fast rising Afro House movement and the golden years of haitian kompa music.
Both members have been introduced to the techniques of mixing in their early teenage years when they fell in love with house music and started developing their own style. In 2013, they came together to form a dj duo concept where its members each perform on their own equipment, allowing them to maintain the versatility they had both acquired over the years.
Nowadays, DZgot focuses on music producing projects where the international dance scene meets the haitian culture halfway on the dancefloor, opening a new world of possibilities where ethnic sounds and EDM tendencies unite.
