Jana Pettke, known professionally as Finna, was born in Hamburg, Germany. She grew up in Ahrensburg and discovered her passion for music at a young age, performing in musicals and school bands. At eleven, she received a solo role in a school musical. Finna gained attention with her debut single “Musik ist Politik”, winning the Newcomer-Preis Krach & Getöse from Rockcity Hamburg in 2015. After a personal crisis, she returned to music in 2020 with the single “Overscheiß”, addressing body diversity and beauty standards. Finna released her debut album Zartcore (2022) under Audiolith Records, producing and arranging beats herself. She has been involved in initiatives like Tour d’Amour, supporting refugees on Lesbos during the COVID-19 pandemic.
