Mike Gazzo, born on January 21, 1990 in Livingston, New Jersey, is an American DJ, songwriter, and record producer. He started playing upright bass at a young age, later moving to other instruments. Gazzo released the Cage EP in 2013. In the same year, he gained recognition when "Never Touch the Ground" hit Number 1 on Hype Machine Popular Charts. His remix of "Best Day of My Life" by American Authors collected 50 million streams on Spotify and was certified triple platinum. Gazzo signed to Casablanca Republic Records in October 2014 and released several notable tracks, including "Sun Turns Cold" (2015) with Chase Rice and "Rewind" (2015) with Kap Slap. In 2016, he released the Evolution EP under Casablanca Records. He has collaborated with various artists, including Steve Aoki, Nicky Jam, BTS, and Billie Eilish.
