Projet Orange was a Canadian alternative rock band from Quebec City formed in 1995 by brothers Jean-Sébastien and Jean-Christophe Boies. In 1998, the ensemble won the Pro scène and L'Empire des futures stars competitions. The group released its eponymous debut studio album, Projet Orange, in 2000, which featured the track “La Pomme”. The recording received the Best Francophone Video award at the 2001 MuchMusic Video Music Awards. That same year, the band released the song “De héros à zéro” for a public service campaign. Following a 2002 hiatus due to Jean-Sébastien Boies’ health, the group released the album Megaphobe in 2004. The recording included the single “Tell All Your Friends”, which reached number 8 on the Canadian rock chart. The band performed its last concert at the Zaphod Beeblebrox in Ottawa on March 8, 2007, and became inactive.
