Thomas Tantrum, an English indie pop band from Southampton, England, was formed in 2006. The group consisted of Megan Thomas on lead vocals and guitar, Dave Wade Brown on drums and vocals, David Miatt on guitars and vocals, and Jim Shivers on bass and vocals. Their early breakthrough came with the release of their single, "Armchair", in 2007. In 2008, the band gained significant exposure when English singer-songwriter Lily Allen featured them in the "Top Friends" section of her MySpace page. Thomas Tantrum, their self-titled debut album, was released in 2008 and included notable singles such as "Work It" and "Rage Against the Tantrum". The band toured extensively with acts like The Futureheads, Glasvegas, White Lies, and Dirty Pretty Things. Their second album, Mad By Moonlight, was released in 2011, featuring the single "Sleep".
