Japanese J-pop duo Little by Little, consisting of Hideco and Tetsuhiko, was formed in 2003 under Sony Music Entertainment Japan. Hideco, whose real name is Eiko Satō, was born in Komatsu, Ishikawa Prefecture, and served as the vocalist. Tetsuhiko Suzuki, whose real name is Tetsuhiko Suzuki, was born on July 31, 1968, in Osaka Prefecture, and functioned as the composer. Little by Little gained prominence through their collaborations with anime series, including contributing "Kanashimi wo Yasashisa ni" as the third opening theme for Naruto in December 2003. Their debut album, Sweet Noodle Pop, was released on July 20, 2005. The duo also provided the third ending theme for Naruto Shippuden with "Kimi Monogatari" in December 2007. Other notable contributions include "Hamingubādo" as the ending theme for Yakitate!! Japan, and "Love & Peace" as the second opening theme for Superior Defender Gundam Force. In 2011, Little by Little concluded their contract with Sony Music Entertainment Japan and Stardust Promotion. Their last single before going on an indefinite hiatus was "Pray" in May 2008. Despite signing with Iron Creative in 2012, the duo's musical activities remained paused indefinitely.
