Implore was a German death metal/grindcore band formed in 2013, with members from Barcelona, Bremen, Vienna, and Linz. The founding members, Gabriel Dubko (vocals, bass) and Daniel Notthoff (guitar), met in Hamburg. Implore released their first EP, Black Knell, on July 4, 2014, via Power It Up Records. Their debut album, Depopulation, was recorded in March 2015 at Hidden Planet Studio in Berlin and mastered at Audiosiege Studio in Portland, Oregon. The album was released on September 11, 2015, under Pelagic Records. Implore embarked on a split-headliner tour with Age of Woe through Germany, Luxembourg, and the Czech Republic. In 2016, they released Thanatos EP via WOOAAARGH and Grindpromotion Records. Their subsequent albums include Subjugate (2017), Alienated Despair (2019), and The Burden of Existence (2022). The band disbanded in 2023, with their final release being the compilation album A Decade in the Shadows.
