Akiko Kanazawa (born October 25, 1954 in Chiba Prefecture) is one of Japan's leading min'yo and enka singers who pioneered multifaceted musical expression beyond the framework of min'yo. She made her debut in 1975 with the catchphrase "Momoe-chan of the min'yo world" and won popularity among the tea party crowd with her innovative style of singing in jeans.
