Precious Hlatshwayo known as Herrah, is a 22-year-old South African R&B singer-songwriter. She began singing in Primary, taking interest in the school choir at the age of 7. Music was a constant in her household as a child, which explains her prowess and natural talent when it comes to creating tunes. When she was a child, she’d wake up in the morning to her Uncle tidying up his room and blasting the 80s & '90s RnB music. At age 15, when she met one of her favorite RnB artists, Jhene Aiko, RnB grew even closer to her heart, she’s hoping to reunite with the star in the near future.
Like most teenage girls, she got heavily inspired & infatuated by Beyoncé's work ethic and the way she carries herself. Herrah is definitely on the new RnB wave. Her music incorporates a lot of Trapsoul and Soulful sounds from the 2000s.
Herrah did OPERA during her choir days back in school, which helped mature her vocals. Her vocal agility is very impressive. Even though she’s got vocals, she's still a firm believer when it comes to writing good lyrics & as a maturing young woman, she sings everything from the heart. She writes about anything that strikes her heart and mind, and she enjoys writing about the experiences of those who are close to her.
