Melina, real name Melina Bak, is a French urban pop singer with R&B, Afro and Latin influences. She began her career in 2017 with collaborations alongside rappers such as Bramsito on "Laisse Parler" and Fababy on "Podium", before starting to release her own tracks from 2020. It was in 2022 that she really came to the fore with the video for "Attention", marking a turning point in her career. In 2024, she released her first album, Roses, a project that marked her entry onto the music scene with an assertive identity. Combining melancholic sounds, driving rhythms and a modern approach to R&B, Mélina draws inspiration from artists such as Summer Walker, Josey and Drake. Roses explores different facets of her musical universe, blending pop melodies and contemporary productions. Alongside the album, she unveils several singles the same year, including "Pardon", "Histoire" and "PLT", and "Pleure pas" featuring Jungeli.
