Ace Young is an American singer, songwriter, and actor born in the United States in 1980. Brett Young achieved national recognition in 2006 as a contestant on the fifth season of the television program American Idol, where they reached number 7. Their debut single, “Scattered” (2006), reached number 50 on the Hot Adult Contemporary sales chart. They co-wrote the chorus for the Daughtry single “It's Not Over” (2006), which received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rock Song. Young’s recordings include the self-titled album Ace Young (2008) and the single “Addicted” (2008). They performed on Broadway in the musicals Grease (2008) and Hair (2010), and subsequently starred in the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2014). Subsequent recordings include the single “I Wanna Fall in Love Again” (2012).
