Meredith Leigh Edwards, born on March 15, 1984, is an American country music singer. At the age of five, she began her musical journey as a member of the traveling choir Mississippi Show Stoppers, where she met Lance Bass of NSYNC. In 2001, Edwards released her debut album Reach under Mercury Records Nashville, which debuted at number 24 on the Top Country Albums chart. Produced by Richard Marx, the album featured two singles: "A Rose Is a Rose" and "The Bird Song", both of which charted on Hot Country Singles & Tracks at number 37 and number 47 respectively.
