Gintas Kraptavicius, known professionally as Gintas K, and born in Lithuania in 1969, is a composer specializing in electronic and industrial music. He began his career as the core member of Modus, the first Lithuanian industrial music group. In 1999, Kraptavicius adopted the stage name Gintas K and shifted his focus to experimental, electroacoustic, electronic, computer music, granular synthesis, and live electronic music aesthetics. He released the album 13 Tracks in 2007, followed by notable works such as Lovely Banalities (2009) and Slow (2013). In 2011, Gintas K became a member of the Lithuanian Composers Union. His achievements include winning the II International Sound-Art Contest Broadcasting Art 2010 in Spain and the University of South Florida New-Music Consortium 2019 International Call for Scores in electronic composition category.
