Natalia Beatrice Giannitrapani, known professionally as Nathalie, was born on December 16, 1979, in Rome, Italy. She began her musical journey during adolescence, studying music and performing in local clubs. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, she participated in various contests, including winning the fourth edition of the Fuoritempo Festival in 2000. Nathalie's breakthrough came in 2010 when she won the fourth season of X Factor Italy. Her debut EP, In punta di piedi, reached number 13 on the FIMI chart, while the title track achieved gold status. In February 2011, Nathalie participated in the Sanremo Music Festival with "Vivo sospesa", which achieved seventh place. She released her first full-length album, also titled Vivo sospesa, in 2011. Throughout her career, Nathalie has continued to release albums such as Anima di vento (2013) and Into the Flow (2018).
