Jorge González González, born on September 22, 1988, in Spain, is a Romani Spanish singer. At age 18, he auditioned for the fifth season of Operación Triunfo, a popular singing competition television show, after convincing his parents to allow him to participate. He achieved eighth place, leading to significant exposure and a contract with Universal's Vale Music label. His debut album, Dikélame, was released in 2007 and included the single "Xikila baila," which surpassed 750,000 views on YouTube. González followed this success with national tours and television appearances. He participated in the pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest multiple times, including in 2009, 2014, and 2024.
