Ruti Olajugbagbe, who goes by just her first name, is an English pop singer who won a recording contract after she placed first in the seventh season of the ITV talent show 'The Voice UK' in 2018. She performed George Ezra's 'Budapest', Florence and the Machine's 'Dog Days Are Over', The Cranberries' 'Dreams' and Boy Meets Girl's 'Waiting for a Star to Fall' on the show. In the live final, she sang Daniel Bedingfield's 'If You're Not the One', the Louis Armstrong standard 'What a Wonderful World' with Tom Jones and a reprise of 'Dreams'. That song was released as a single in 2018 and reached number 14 on the Official UK Singles Chart. Her single 'Racing Cars' from an EP of the same name went to number 22 on the chart upon its release in April 2019.
