María de Los Ángeles Loya Sáenz, known professionally as La Consentida, was born on October 1, 1944, in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. She is a singer and actress who began her career in 1953 with the release of her first hit single "Gorrioncillo pecho amarillo". La Consentida became an exclusive artist for Discos RCA Víctor, often accompanied by Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán on her recordings. Her debut film role was in the comedy El hombre inquieto (1954), starring alongside Germán Valdés "Tin Tan" and Joaquín Pardavé. Throughout her career, she released several albums, including La Consentida, vol. 1 and La Consentida, vol. 2, and appeared in notable films such as Pies de gato (1957), El hombre del alazán (1959), and Lupe Balazos (1964).
