José Ángel Espinoza Aragón, known as Ferrusquilla, was born on October 2, 1919, in Choix, Mexico. He received theoretical musical training at the National Conservatory of Music and began his career in radio in the late 1930s, working at XEQ-AM. He gained recognition as a composer with songs such as "Échame a mí la culpa" and "La ley del monte", which became widely recorded by other artists. In addition to his music career, he also appeared in films with actors like Carmen Montejo, Jorge Negrete, and Clint Eastwood. His discography includes albums like El camisa de juera (1975) and En Sinaloa Naci (1982). He died on November 6, 2015.
