Das Modul, a German electronic music group, was formed in 1994 by producers Felix J. Gauder and Olaf Roberto Bossi. The duo discovered the single "Computerliebe" by Paso Doble while examining old records, which inspired them to create Das Modul. Yasemin Baysal and Dierk Schmidt were quickly recruited for live performances and music videos, with Bossi handling most of the vocals. Their debut single "Computerliebe" reached number 3 in Germany and number 8 in Austria and was certified gold, selling 440,000 copies. The follow-up single "Kleine Maus" also achieved high chart positions, reaching number 4 in Germany and number 5 in Austria, and sold 350,000 copies. Das Modul released their first album Musik Mit Hertz in July 1995, followed by Urlaub Auf Der M.S. Dos in September 1996. Notable singles include "Frühlingsgefühle" and "Robby Roboter", which charted in multiple countries. In 1998, the group released the single "Ich Will", featuring Keren May on vocals. After a hiatus, Das Modul returned with the remake "Computerliebe 7.1" in 2001 under the name Das Modul vs. E-Love. The group disbanded in 2001 but announced their return in November 2023 with Yasemin Baysal rejoining as a vocalist, marking the first time the group included a trio of members publicly.
