Maud Mulder is a Dutch pop singer born on November 17, 1981, in Nijmegen. She played professional field hockey with the club NMHC Nijmegen until 2010. In 2004, Mulder participated in the television competition Idols Netherlands 2, where she reached the final and placed second. Her performances during the program included covers of “White Flag” and “Dancing in the Street”. She released her debut studio album, Wacht op mij, on March 28, 2005. The recording included the singles “Zoals je naar me kijkt” and “Omdat je bij me blijft”. In March 2006, Mulder participated in the Dutch Song Contest national finals. She performed three songs during the event and reached third place.
