Soumia Bahri was born on August 27, 1977, in Saint-Mandé, France, and is a French zouk singer known professionally as Soumia. She began her career doing background vocals in a rap band before being discovered by Ronald Rubinel, who produced her debut single, "Temps pou Temps" (1998), featuring Talina. This collaboration marked her breakthrough moment and introduced her to the public. Soumia released her first album, Still in Love, in 2002, which included notable tracks like "Mes sentiments" and "Rendez moi". Her subsequent releases included the albums In Love Again (2005) and Confidences (2009), as well as the compilation album Forever in Love The best of (2012). Soumia's discography also featured collaborations with various artists, such as Kaysha on "Beach Club".
