Pierre Destailles was a French actor and singer born Pierre André Jules Desfoux in 1909. He was a chansonnier known for the song “Tout ça parce qu'au bois de Chaville y'avait du muguet”. He was also the author and performer of the song “La mouche”. Destailles appeared in films including Tombé du ciel (1946), Sous le ciel de Paris (1951), and Germinal (1963). He died in 1990.
