Jung Sangsoo

Jung Sang-su (정상수), born March 31, 1984, in Seoul, South Korea, is a South Korean rapper known by the stage name Blasta, who has built a reputation in the K-hip hop scene through his raw lyrical delivery and independent artistic direction. Using his real name Jung Sang-su as both his birth and professional name, he first gained recognition with his debut album Truman Show (2009), which established his presence as a distinctive voice in underground Korean hip hop. He officially debuted under South Town Production in 2015 and has since continued releasing digital singles that reflect his evolving style and personal narrative, including “다람쥐와 뉴트리아” (2022), “삽사리” (2025), “New Chapter”(2026), and the remix single “지키리 (Jikiri) (Remix)” (2026).
