Samanta Duque Bio
Samanta Duque is the youngest female DJ/Singer of guaracha in the whole world. She's a pop star in formation, with an immense convening power and a surprising projection. With a very particular personality and a deep love for art and music, at her 17 years, she is opening a path that will take her every day further away.
Since she was a child, Samanta already showed great interest for the rhythms and the music. At just 3 years old she felt an enormous affinity for instruments such as flute and keyboards, which played a very important role during her development in childhood. At very early age, she participated in beauty pageants that allowed her to show her musical performance. Samanta has also studied piano and vocal technique. While she was in the ninth grade, at the age of 14, she began her career as a professional DJ, inspired by figures like Steve Aoki and David Guetta. She was helping her cousin, who was DJ. That way she learned everything necessary to start exploring the world of machines, and through social networks it was spreading the rumor that she was playing. Then, the first presentation was almost immediate. Her environment and her passion for electronic music led her to choose guaracha as the ideal genre to break through as an artist. At the age of 16, Samanta has already appeared with success in cities such as Bogotá, Medellín, Cúcuta and Cartagena. On February 28, 2020 she released “Amores Ft. Valka”, her first single with high expectations and a huge reception from her followers. Samanta thus entered the list of the 50 most DJ’s heard from Colombia, being also the youngest exponent of the guaracha.
